Recall that Dustborn is a single-player action-adventure set in the United States of America in the alternate year 2030.

According to Quantic Dream co-founder Guillaume de Fondaumiere, the French studio hopes to give Red Thread Games the opportunity to realize its vision and share it with as many people as possible.

“From the very beginning, we were captivated by Dustborn’s ambitions, her visual style and originality of the gameplay, colorful characters, and the set of topics raised,” explained de Fondomier’s choice of partner.

In connection with the announcement of Quantic Dream and Red Thread Games have presented a new teaser trailer for Dustborn, which is actually a shortened version of the debut video, unveiled in mid-June.

In Dustborn, the developers promise a story about “hope, love, friendship, robots, and the power of words” The latter is reflected in the gameplay – the main character Pax will be able to manipulate people through misinformation.

The release of Dustborn is expected during 2021 on PC (Steam) and consoles coming in November of the new generation. What kind of devices are in question, the developers have not yet clarified.
