Over the year, revenue declined by 20%
LG Display published a report for the first quarter of 2020. During the reporting period, the South Korean manufacturer of flat panels received an income of 3.84 billion dollars. This is 26% less than the indicator for the previous quarter and 20% less compared to the figure for the first quarter of 2019.
Operating losses amounted to approximately $ 0.29 billion. This is less than in the previous quarter, but 174% more in annual terms.
The quarter resulted in a net loss of $ 0.16 billion. For comparison: in the previous quarter, this indicator was equal to 1.48 billion dollars, and in the first quarter of 2019 – 51 million dollars.
Mobile dashboards accounted for 32% of LG Display revenue in the first quarter. The contribution of panels for TVs was 31%. The panel for tablets and laptops account for 20% of revenue, for monitors – 17%
