GPD G1 received a built-in 240 W power supply
GPD – a well-known manufacturer of portable game consoles – introduced a device called GPD G1. This is the most compact external 3D accelerator.
Measuring 225 x 111 x 29.8mm and weighing 920 grams, the box houses a Radeon RX 7600M XT 3D card with 32MB of fast Infinity Cache memory and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. An interesting point: TGP is 120 W, but the developers chose a power supply with a margin, its power is 240 W.

The GPD G1 is equipped with two DisplayPort 1.4a ports, one HDMI 2.1, one OcuLink (it provides 63 Gb / s throughput through the PCIe 4.0 x4 or PCIe 3.0 x4 bus), additional equipment includes an SD card slot, three USB 3.2 Type- A and one USB 4. The cost of the GPD G1 is about $642, but you can’t order the novelty separately – only bundled with the Win Max 2 2023 game console.
