Rare is still undecided on the gameplay ideas of Everwild – the game is probably far from release
Microsoft and studio Rare announced the action-adventure Everwild late last year. We are expected to learn more about the game tomorrow at the Xbox Games Showcase. However, it seems that it is still not ready for demo, and even more so we should not wait for an early release. Speaking with Polygon, Rare CEO Craig Duncan shared some information about Everwild.
According to Duncan, the relatively small development team of Everwild is still thinking about implementing ideas in the game – many of them have not yet been fully accepted. It is well known that Rare intends to create a world with an emphasis on nature, in which players can “get lost”. And the developer is trying to figure out how best to give gamers the feeling of living in a fabulous wilderness.
Duncan added: “We’re still playing with gameplay ideas. We will have something to say about this, but … we have an idea that we are striving for, and we think that it is special. I have a team that wakes up every morning with the desire to make this game […] ”.
Everwild is coming to PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
