A rare, unopened version of the first-generation iPhone with 4GB of flash storage was sold at auction for $158,644, or more than 14 million rubles.

This price also broke the auction price record for all first generation iPhones in history and became the most expensive in the world. Recall that for this smartphone they expected to earn up to 9 million rubles .

Apple released the first iPhone in 2007, with the 4GB version being quickly phased out as the 8GB version was very popular. Mark Montero, founder of auction platform LCG Auctions, said the 4GB version of the original iPhone is more than 20 times rarer than the 8GB version.
