Raspberry Pi 400 unveiled – a full desktop computer inside a keyboard for $ 70
The Raspberry Pi Foundation, which makes popular single-board computers for developers, has presented a very curious product – a device called the Raspberry Pi 400.
The announced solution is a compact PC made in the form of a small form factor keyboard without a block of numeric buttons on the right side. It is based on a Raspberry Pi 4 motherboard with a Broadcom BCM2711 processor with four 1.8GHz Cortex-A72 cores and 4GB LPDDR4-3200 RAM.
The back of the keyboard contains various connectors. In particular, it is possible to connect two displays via Micro-HDMI interfaces. In addition, there is a Gigabit Ethernet network port, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and a 40-pin GPIO header.
Implemented support for Bluetooth 5.0 BLE and Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b / g / n / ac wireless communication in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. A microSD card is used for data storage. The dimensions of the device are 286 × 122 × 23 mm. Power is supplied via a balanced USB Type-C connector.
