Razer Thunderbolt 4 Dock Chroma with backlight priced at € 330
Razer has announced the Thunderbolt 4 Dock Chroma, now available for pre-order. The novelty can be purchased at an approximate price of 330 US dollars, or $397.24 – depending on the region.
As the name suggests, the device supports Thunderbolt 4: it delivers up to 40 Gbps bandwidth. A total of four Thunderbolt 4 ports are available based on balanced USB Type-C connectors.
The station is endowed with three USB Type-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, a combined 3.5 mm headphone/microphone jack, a Gigabit Ethernet network connector, and an SD card reader.
The image can be output to two 4K monitors with a refresh rate of up to 60 Hz or one 8K display with a refresh rate of 30 Hz. The USB Type-C connector can supply up to 90W of power to the connected laptop.
The novelty is endowed with a proprietary multicolor backlighting Razer Chroma with a palette of 16.8 million shares. The backlight can be synchronized with other peripheral devices such as a keyboard and mouse.
The station’s dimensions are 190 × 74.5 × 27 mm, weight – 338 g. A 135 W power supply unit provides power.
