Razer unveils its first smart glasses – Anzu gadget with eye protection and Bluetooth 5.1

Razer, a well-known developer of gaming-grade computing devices, has announced its first smart glasses: a gadget called Anzu is already available for order at an estimated price of $ 200.

The novelty is offered in two versions (with lenses of different shapes) and two sizes. Weight, depending on the modification, ranges from 43 to 48 grams.

The applied optics provide eye protection from ultraviolet radiation (filtration level 99%) and harmful blue light (filtration level 35%). This increases comfort, for example, when working at the computer for a long time.

Also, the glasses function as open-type headphones. Used 16 mm radiators and built-in omnidirectional microphones allow for telephone conversations.

Implemented support for wireless communication Bluetooth 5.1: the declared delay in signal transmission is only 60 ms. The IPX4 certification means moisture and sweat resistance.

There are touch control pads on the arms for switching tracks, accepting/rejecting voice calls, etc. The battery life on one battery charge exceeds five hours.
