Razer has announced a new version of the Orochi wireless mouse, given the uncomplicated name of the Orochi V2. The device operates on replaceable batteries, and the user himself can choose which batteries to use: AA or AAA.

Razer claims that the device can run for up to 950 hours with a single AA battery included in the box. It should be noted that the specified time was measured when the mouse was connected via Bluetooth. It will shrink when using the Razer HyperSpeed Wireless USB Adapter. However, this option is more preferable for gamers as it offers reduced latency.

Another unique feature of the Orochi V2 is that the device’s appearance can be personalized through the Razer Customs program. This program has been around for a while, but so far, it has only covered four Razer Phone mousepads and cases. Razer offers a choice of ready-made templates, but the user can create their own unique print design that will be applied to the mouse.

The Orochi V2 weighs 60 grams, has six programmable buttons and an 18,000 DPI sensor. The device goes on sale today. The basic version starts at 80 euros. A mouse customized through the Razer Customs program costs 100 euros.
