Realme will release a flagship smartphone with Snapdragon 888 in a completely new family before the end of winter

According to him, Race is the codename for a smartphone that will become a representative of a completely new family. The device will debut next year – roughly in January or February.

The head of Realme confirmed that the flagship Snapdragon 888 chip will serve as the “heart” of the upcoming smartphone. Recall that this product combines eight computing cores, an Adreno 660 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem with a data transfer rate of up to 7.5 Gb / s. The maximum clock speed is 2.84 GHz.

Xu Qi Chase did not go into details about the other characteristics of the device, but some details are known from unofficial sources. In particular, it is said about the presence of a triple main camera with a 64-megapixel sensor. The fingerprint scanner is likely to be integrated directly into the display area.

One way or another, the Realme Race will belong to the highest price segment. The device is likely to ship with Android 11 out of the box.
