Realme will release an affordable smartphone on the Helio G95 platform
The fast-growing brand Realme will soon announce a new mid-range smartphone: the device, codenamed RMX3085, appeared in the popular Geekbench benchmark.
The device is equipped with a MediaTek MT6785V / CD processor. Internet sources clarify that this code hides the Helio G95 product, which contains eight computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz, a Mali-G76 MC4 graphics accelerator, and a 4G / LTE modem. In other words, there is no support for 5G cellular networks.
The tested smartphone was equipped with 8 GB of RAM and operated under the operating system Android 11. The result of Geekbench in single-core mode – 536 points, in multi-core – 1702 points.
It is said that the device has already received certification from various departments, including the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). This means that the novelty will soon appear in Europe.
In the last quarter of 2020, Realme ranked seventh in the ranking of the largest smartphone suppliers. The company sold about 14 million smart devices in three months, increasing shipments year on year by 80% (data from Counterpoint Research).
