Under-screen camera, overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and 6500 mAh
Today in China the official premiere of the flagship smartphone Red Magic 9 Pro took place. The Red Magic 9 Pro+ model was also presented at the same time, but it differs only in the parameters of the power subsystem.
The smartphone has a flat-screen without any cutouts – the device has a fifth-generation under-screen front camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels.
The AMOLED display has a diagonal of 6.8 inches, a resolution of 2480 × 1160 pixels, and a brightness of 1600 cd/sq.m. The PWM adjustment frequency is 2160 Hz.
Red Magic 9 Pro introduced
Red Magic 9 Pro is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which, due to a powerful cooling system with a large vapor chamber and an active element in the form of a fan, demonstrates excellent performance: 2.291 million points in AnTuTu at room temperature and 2.321 million points in laboratory conditions.
Red Magic 9 Pro has a 6500 mAh battery with 80W charging support, while Red Magic 9 Pro+ has a 5500 mAh battery with 165W charging support. Full charging time in the first case is 35 minutes, in the second – 16 minutes.
Both models support the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface. They also have stereo speakers and a powerful vibration motor, 3.5 mm jacks for connecting wired headphones, NFC chips, and IR emitters.
The main camera is represented by three modules with sensors with a resolution of 50 (with OIS), 50 (with ultra-wide-angle lens), and 2 (for macro photography) MP.
The price of Red Magic 9 Pro Dark Knight is as follows: 8/256 GB – $615, 12/256 GB – $670, 12/512 GB – $725.
And these prices are set for Red Magic 9 Pro+ Dark Knight: 16/256 GB – $770, 16/512 GB – $810, 24 GB/1 TB – $980.
