However, a special application has already appeared in the Google Play online store, which allows you to check your smartphone for compatibility with MIUI 12.
The app is called MIUI 12 Eligibility Test. It is worth emphasizing that this is not an official application from Xiaomi, the developer was Alpha Developers Official.
Accordingly, even if the application declared the smartphone compatible, in the end, Xiaomi may decide otherwise. Now the application is at an early access stage and may be unstable.
After installation, it is proposed to identify the device by clicking on the Detect button. If the device is “defined”, then the verification step with the Check button follows. Then the result is displayed – the smartphone is compatible or incompatible with MIUI 12. If the device could not be “determined”, then a list of Poco, Redmi and Xiaomi models is offered for manual selection.
