The Redmi K60 had a more capacious battery.

Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group, president of the international department and general manager of the Redmi brand, confirmed that the battery capacity of the Redmi K70 could be increased, but the thickness of the case would become 1 mm larger with an increase in the weight of the case.

He asked Weibo users if they would agree to this, to which the majority responded in the negative. Fans believe that 5000 mAh is enough.

Redmi could make the Redmi K70 battery more capacious

Compared to the previous generation K60, the battery capacity of the Redmi K70 has been reduced and the fast charging speed has been increased. The Redmi K60 used a 5500 mAh battery with support for 67-watt charging. For Redmi K70, the manufacturer chose 120 W + 5000 mAh. A full charge takes just 18 minutes and the case is approximately 8.2mm thick.

Redmi K70 features a 6.67-inch flat OLED display with 2K resolution, industry-leading local peak brightness of 4000 cd/m2 and support for 3840Hz PWM.
