These models are built on different versions of the same platform.
Yesterday, Redmi introduced the Redmi Note 9 smartphone and the global version of Redmi Note 9 Pro, but, according to a source well-informed in Xiaomi, the company is already preparing for release Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro. They will be more powerful than the current generation models.

Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro are on the way. They will be more powerful than Redmi Note 9 Pro
Reportedly, in Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro, the MediaTek Dimensity 800 platform will be used, but in two versions: the basic model of the line will receive the usual version of SoC, and the model with the Pro prefix will receive a “forced” version. An increase in the performance of Density 800 in the second case was achieved by increasing the frequency of the “large cluster” – Arm Cortex-A76 cores. If in the standard version they operate at a frequency of 2.0 GHz, then in the “forced” frequency they will be 2.6 GHz. What this gives is clearly demonstrated by the screenshots of AnTuTu below: on the left is the usual Dimensity 800, and on the right is the so-called Dimensity 800+.
Redmi Note 9 Pro scores about 274,000 points in AnTuTu, as you can see, Redmi Note 10 gives out 295,000 points. So the Density 800 will provide a decent performance boost. Other parameters of the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro have not yet been announced, but for sure these models will receive batteries with a capacity of about 5000 mAh and cameras with four sensors.
