Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director and Global Vice President of Xiaomi India, confirmed on his page that a new Redmi smartphone would be announced on February 10. It is expected that we are talking about Redmi Note 10.

He also posted a video, adding that it is about “the smoothest smartphone in Redmi India.” This directly indicates that it will be equipped with a screen with a high refresh rate. Presumably, the smartphone will support 120Hz.

Sources add that this is an LCD screen. The manufacturer will present another hit in terms of price and performance, and the AMOLED panel will lead to an inevitable rise in price. Last year’s Indian Redmi Note 9 received a 60Hz screen, so that this improvement will be quite noticeable.

The company is expected to launch two devices, including Redmi Note 10 (M2101K7AG) and Redmi Note 10 Pro (M2101K6AG). The former will be available with 4/6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash, while the latter will receive 6/8 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of flash.

Yesterday Manu Kumar Jain announced that more than 200 million smartphones of this series had been sold worldwide.
