The smartphone meets the IP68 protection level

Xiaomi Redmi Product Manager Wu Hao released a statement saying that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ smartphone has passed the IP69 test.

A test report published by Wu Hao shows that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ passed the IPX9 waterproof test last week on October 10th. The test report was presented by the Saibao Laboratory and the Fifth Electronics Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ passed the IP69 protection test

The standard IPX9 waterproof test requires 4 holes with water flowing in at angles of 0°, 30°, 60° and 90°. The water temperature ranges from 25 to 80 °C. The water spray pressure ranges from 8000 to 10000 kPa. The force of the water impact is from 0.9 to 1.2 N. The total time is 120 seconds.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ was launched in September this year. The smartphone was the first to receive Dimensity 7200-Ultra, a main 200-megapixel camera, a built-in battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, support for 120 W fast charging, and dust and water protection by the IP68 rating.

The smartphone has a 6.67-inch screen with a resolution of 1.5K. This is the first Redmi phone with a curved screen. It supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz and full-screen brightness up to 1800 cd/ m2.
