Redmi Note 9 – Water resistance, 48 megapixels, quad camera, 5020 mAh and MediaTek Helio G85 for $ 200

Redmi Note 9 received the so-called point display (DotDisplay) – in this same “point” is an embedded front camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels. Diagonal and screen resolution – 6.53 inches and Full HD +. Of course, the OLED panel is not laid out for such an affordable model, so the matrix is ​​ordinary – IPS.

The novelty is built on a single-chip platform MediaTek Helio G85 – and during the presentation a lot of attention was paid to it, nevertheless, SoC MediaTek is not often found in Redmi and Xiaomi smartphones. In fact, the Helio G85 delivers 21% more performance than the Snapdragon 665 in Redmi Note 8. Slightly less than the Exynos 9611 in the Samsung Galaxy A51, but still inferior.

The smartphone received a battery capacity of 5020 mAh, officially declared autonomy – more than two days. Supported by fast charging power of 18 watts, while the scope of delivery includes a charger with a capacity of 22.5 watts.

Also in the configuration of the model there is NFC, an infrared emitter, a slot accommodating two SIM cards and a microSD card. There is also a nanocovering that repels water droplets, reinforced corners of the case, designed to increase strength, and a fingerprint scanner on the back panel.
