Redmi sold 300 thousand Redmi K40 and K40 Pro smartphones in five minutes
The Redmi brand has reported on the sales of the new Redmi K40 and K40 Pro products. It turned out that the company sold the entire batch of 300 thousand devices just 5 minutes after the start of sales. This was reported on the company’s Weibo page.
The new Redmi products offer impressive performance at an affordable price. For example, the K40 is powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor, an Adreno 650 GPU, a 20MP selfie camera, and a 48MP main module. The K40 Pro comes with Snapdragon 888, Adreno 660, and a 64MP main sensor.
Both devices feature 120Hz Full HD + displays and 360Hz sensor polling rates. Smartphones also got 33W fast charging. The amount of storage and RAM depends on the configuration. The K40 ranges from $ 310 to $ 420, and the K40 Pro range from $ 430 to $ 575.
Given the device’s popularity, the company has already announced the delivery date for the new batch of smartphones. Sales will resume on March 8th.
