Regulator declassified OnePlus 50W wireless charging station

The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) has posted information on the new OnePlus wireless charging station, codenamed C302A.

The document contains a render of the accessory. As you can see, the station is made in the form of a stand with an inclined platform: it is noted that users will install the smartphone in portrait or landscape orientation. The power of the novelty is 50 watts.

The two-cell battery of the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone can be charged from 0 to 100% in just 43 minutes. By comparison, a quick 65-watt wired charger can do the same process in 29 minutes.

The new station uses Qi technology, which allows energy to be transmitted using magnetic induction. The device is equipped with two coils, one at the top and the other at the bottom.

We add that smartphones of the OnePlus 9 series will debut the day after tomorrow, March 23rd. In addition to the basic version of the OnePlus 9 and the more powerful modification of the OnePlus 9 Pro, the more affordable OnePlus 9R model will also be released.
