The device received a Super AMOLED Full HD + Infinity O display measuring 6.5 inches diagonally. A small hole in the upper center of the screen houses a selfie camera based on a 32-megapixel sensor.

A quad camera is installed at the back. It contains a main 64-megapixel sensor, a 12-megapixel unit with ultra-wide-angle optics (123 degrees), a 5-megapixel macro module, and a 5-megapixel sensor for obtaining information about the depth of the scene.

A proprietary Exynos 9611 processor with eight processing cores is used, the clock frequency of which reaches 2.3 GHz. The flash drive is designed to store 128 GB of information.

Responsible for power supply is a powerful rechargeable battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh with support for fast 25-watt charging via a symmetrical USB Type-C port. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters.

The smartphone is equipped with the Android 10 operating system with the One UI 2.1 add-on. Samsung will offer versions of the Galaxy M31s with 6GB and 8GB of RAM at an estimated price of $ 260 and $ 290.
