Lada Iskra should be built on the basis of the localized French CMF-B LS platform from Renault-Nissan. It is expected that the cars will be produced in sedan, wagon and cross wagon bodies, will receive a Chinese variator, like the Lada Vesta NG.
As many as three engines are expected: 90- and 106-horsepower atmospheric 1.6-liter and 122-horsepower 1.8-liter unit.
The production of the model will be launched next year, as a result, it will replace the Lada Granta on the market.
