Ride 4 racing simulator will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X on January 21

Milestone has announced that it will release the Ride 4 racing simulator on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on January 21, 2021. On PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, the game will go on sale a few months earlier on October 8.

Users who purchase Ride 4 on PlayStation 4 before April 30, 2021, will be able to download the PlayStation 5 version (and all purchased add-on content) at no additional cost. Owners of the Xbox One version of the game will be able to automatically download the Xbox Series X version at no additional cost at any time thanks to Smart Delivery.

Ride 4 will offer motorbike racing on dozens of tracks from around the world, created using CAD drawings, laser scanning, and 3D scanning. You will be able to ride one of the hundreds of officially licensed motorcycles and go from local competitions to professional leagues.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X editions of Ride 4 will support 60fps at up to 4K dynamic resolution, as well as online and offline races with up to 20 riders. According to Milestone, the bikes on the next-generation consoles are presented “with the highest quality shaders and textures,” and the environment is “an unprecedented level of detail

On PlayStation 5, download times will be significantly reduced. The game also leverages the power of the DualSense controller: the throttle and brake triggers are resisted to “convey the same sensations as their real counterparts,” and haptic feedback allows gamers to “feel the vibrations of their motorcycle as they ride the streets
