It is for the Amazon store
Last year, a deal was announced between Rivian and Amazon to supply the largest online retailer with 100,000 Rivian electric vehicles. We are talking about delivery vans that work at the last stage of order delivery.

Since then, there has been little information about the project, but the other day a prototype of this vehicle was seen near the Rivian plant in Irvine, California.
The photographs show that the front and rear of the van are covered from prying eyes. True, this is not a camouflage, usually used in prototypes to make it difficult to fully perceive the body contours, but monochromatic linings. By the way, the van was accompanied by three camouflaged Rivian R1T pickups during the trip.
Perhaps the trims hide Amazon’s branding, which could be replaced if Rivian also supplies vehicles to other companies.
According to the source, the fact that the van was heading for a local freeway could indicate driving trials at high speeds.
