Rockstar Steam Bug Bounced Back Midnight Club 2, Removed In 2018
A strange situation occurred on the Steam digital distribution store: Rockstar Games games disappeared from the service and returned fifteen minutes later. The developers, apparently, ‘re in a great hurry to fix the error, as they accidentally opened the opportunity to purchase Midnight Club 2.
This racing arcade was removed from Steam in 2018 due to expired music licenses. However, due to a recent mistake, sales have resumed. It was possible to buy the project within about an hour, which some players used.
As reported by the portal PC Gamer, who drew attention to the situation, online in Midnight Club 2 on Steam has grown to forty concurrent users. And in the reviews, there were calls to purchase a racing arcade as soon as possible until access was closed again.
PC Gamer contacted Rockstar Games for comment on the resumed sales of Midnight Club 2 and received confirmation that an error had occurred. Apparently, the developers will not renew the license and open access to the purchase of the mentioned racing arcade on an ongoing basis.
