Role-playing detective Disco Elysium: the Final Cut on PS4 and PS5 has already been updated to version 1.3
The independent Estonian studio ZA / UM, in its microblog, announced the release of patch 1.3 announced last Friday for the console versions of its role-playing detective Disco Elysium: The Final Cut.
Recall that the extended edition of Disco Elysium made its debut on PlayStation consoles, not in its best form: users faced bugs, poor performance, loss of saves, and other technical problems.
Released a week and a half after the release of The Final Cut, first on PS5 and then on PS4, Update 1.2 slightly improved the situation. The patch did not solve all the problems, so the developers announced another one – 1.3.
As it turned out, already at the time of the announcement by the authors of plans to release version 1.3, it did not have long to wait: today, April 12, the patch became available for download to users of both mentioned PlayStation consoles.
Earlier it was reported that 1.3 includes “a bunch of dubbing fixes,” improved controller performance, eliminates bugs with interactions and loss of saves, prevents deadlocks, and much more.
The developers are not going to stop there: in a tweet announcing the release of 1.3, the studio confirmed that it is already “working hard” on update 1.4. The release date of the upcoming patch has not been specified.
Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is already available on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, and Google Stadia streaming service, and will reach the Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles this summer.
