Role-playing strategy game in the setting of the 17th century Black Legend is out on PC and consoles

Wargrave has released a turn-based RPG, Black Legend, set in the 17th century. The game is already available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.

Black Legend takes place on the streets of the fictional Scottish-style town of Grant. An alchemist named Mephisto has shrouded the settlement in a thick fog that drives the inhabitants crazy. The cultists who worship this mist have seized control of the streets and plunged the city into chaos. You must restore order in Grant and fight the sect in turn-based battles that combine RPG and the alchemy system’s classical mechanics.

The game has 15 character classes with unique abilities, and battles are fought with body alchemy. You have to master four instabilities and combine them with catalytic attacks to strike a powerful blow against the enemy. The developers also provided several modes of passage – including a simplified one for those who want to complete the game for the plot’s sake.
