At the time of the release of Super Mario Bros. in 1985, hardly anyone suspected that in many years the series would become one of the most recognizable in the industry.

Rumor: Updated Mario games appear on Nintendo Switch

Since then, Nintendo has been constantly reminiscent of its mascot. According to a recent leak, the company intends to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Mario series by releasing a number of iconic games for the Nintendo Switch console. The source of information is the serious portals Eurogamer, VGC and Gematsu. Nintendo allegedly planned to announce this at E3 2020, which will not take place.

The list also includes the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and a new character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Remasters of the Mario series include Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine.

We emphasize that all of the above information has not yet been officially confirmed. We are waiting for news from Nintendo.
