Recall that Gran Turismo 7 was announced at the June show The Future of Gaming. When (at least approximately) the premiere of the game is planned, neither Sony Interactive Entertainment nor the developers from Polyphony Digital then mentioned.

Now, thanks to the ElieTheStig find, it became known that the Japanese platform holder still has at least an approximate release date for Gran Turismo 7.

Official ad banners for Gran Turismo 7 have started to appear on YouTube for some people in Canada. Judging by the text in the image, the project is scheduled for release in the first half of 2021.

According to ElieTheStig, clicking the “Learn More” button next to the Gran Turismo 7 screenshot takes the user to the official game page without any new information about it.

Notably, the banner depicts a Porsche 917K – the same one featured in previous marketing materials. At the same time, the frame captured on the advertising image has not yet been seen in any video.

The official PlayStation website promises “stunning graphics” , 4K resolution with HDR support, ray tracing in Gran Turismo 7. In terms of performance, the developers hope to achieve 60fps.
