Rumors: the second part of the story DOOM Eternal The Ancient Gods will be released on March 18
A Twitter user under the pseudonym Aggiornamenti Lumia in his microblog reported that The Ancient Gods, Part Two add-on to the DOOM Eternal shooter, will go on sale on March 18 this year.
Aggiornamenti Lumia confirmed its claim with a selection of four screenshots of The Ancient Gods. Part Two-three of them have already been leaked to the Network due to a previous leak, and the fourth has not been published anywhere else.
It is assumed that both the release date and the referenced image were taken from a Microsoft Store page. However, by the time the material was published in the Microsoft digital store, traces of this information (if any) were gone.
The blogger Anvil Gaming also posted a video on this topic. In his video, YouTuber showed a screenshot of the comment by modder protege, who confirmed the leak and expressed confidence in the data voiced by Aggiornamenti Lumia.
An indirect proof of the veracity of Aggiornamenti Lumia’s claim can be the sudden postponement of the last DOOM Eternal stream with the participation of its director Hugo Martin to March 18 at 2:00 Moscow time.
The fact that there really wasn’t much time left before the release of The Ancient Gods, Part Two, was indicted by the add-on’s appearance on rating agencies’ website and the recent publication of the list of achievements.
Earlier, both parts of The Ancient Gods would be released before the first anniversary of DOOM Eternal, which falls on March 20. The first official teaser trailer for the add-on will be released on March 15th.
