AMD card is always faster
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is already partially patched, but tests show that memory size is still important for it, like for many other projects that have come out in recent months.
RX 6800 compared to RTX 3070 in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Hardware Unboxed tests show that the Radeon RX 6800 with its 16GB of memory outperforms the RTX 3070 with 8GB of memory at all resolutions and modes. Including the AMD card is faster when activating ray tracing effects.
Interestingly, the biggest difference in performance is observed in Full HD, while in 4K it often becomes negligible.
During the game, you can see that on the RX 6800 the game can consume up to 10-11 GB of video memory, while in the case of the RTX 3070 almost all 8 GB are constantly occupied.
