Samsung Galaxy Book Ion 2 and Notebook Plus 2 laptops presented with Intel Tiger Lake processors
Samsung has announced the Galaxy Book Ion 2 and Notebook Plus 2 laptops, which will start accepting orders next week. New items are positioned as computers for solving everyday tasks.
The laptops are based on eleventh generation Intel Core processors (Tiger Lake platform) with integrated Iris Xe graphics. The Galaxy Book Ion 2 will come in 13.3 and 15.6-inch versions. The devices can boast of lightweight and thickness: for example, in the younger model, these figures are 970 g and 12.9 mm.
For the 15.6-inch modification of the Galaxy Book Ion 2, there is the possibility of upgrading the RAM and solid-state drive. In addition, NVIDIA discrete graphics accelerator can be installed.
Laptop Notebook Plus 2, in turn, is endowed with a 15.6-inch screen. NVIDIA GeForce MX450 and GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics cards are available for this model. Buyers will be able to select the required amount of RAM and order the installation of a solid-state drive of the desired capacity.
The price of the Galaxy Book Ion 2, depending on the configuration, will range from $ 1260 to $ 2230, the Notebook Plus 2 model from $ 690 to $ 1770.
