Samsung Galaxy S20 + in shame even lost to Redmi Note 8 Pro, despite the five-fold difference in price

The video with the game test Samsung Galaxy S20 + and Redmi Note 8 Pro was published by blogger Chong Liu, who had previously demonstrated Exynos flaws.

Recall that the Redmi Note 8 Pro is based on the MediaTek Helio G90T and Xiaomi fans at the time were very unhappy with this choice of the company. At the same time, the Samsung Galaxy S20 + on the Exynos 990 is experiencing serious difficulties in order to keep up with the Redmi Note 8 Pro MediaTek Helio G90T in the game test.

After ten minutes of playing PUBG Mobile, the frame rate on the Galaxy S20 + dropped to 50 fps, and after 20 minutes to 40 fps. The smartphone has throttling and reduced performance. Redmi Note 8 Pro does not show such serious problems. Redmi Note 8 Pro is also heated less.

Just for comparison, in the official Russian online stores Samsung and Xiaomi, by the way, Redmi Note 8 Pro costs from 211 Dollars, and Galaxy S20 + from 1059 Dollars

Users of international versions of Samsung have long been dissatisfied with Exynos’ proprietary SoCs, which traditionally outperform Qualcomm Snapdragon in performance. On this occasion, even a petition was created demanding to stop discrimination and stop selling “second-rate” smartphones.
