Typically, the exclusive features of Samsung smartphones remain that way for a long period of time, but this is not the case with the Samsung Galaxy S21.
Our colleagues at GizChina have confirmed that this update brings the following features to the cameras of the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 +, and S20 Ultra:
- Capturing portrait images in low light conditions
- Night mode now works with ultra wide angle cameras
- Three new portrait mode effects: backdrop, high-key mono and low-key mono
- Night mode now allows users to choose exposure or use the highest possible exposure
- You can now also use the ultra wide-angle camera in Pro mode
Three new portrait mode effects let you change the background color to black, white, or a random color to be chosen by the camera app.
Director View remains exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy S21.
