The company has yet to work on smartphone performance

The official premiere of the flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S21 will take place only on January 14, but the promising novelty has already appeared in the Geekbench database under the catalog number SM-G991U. Now we have confirmation of the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC in the smartphone.

The “motherboard” is called “Lahaina” – this is the code designation for Snapdragon 888. As you can see, the RAM amount was 8 GB, and the OS was Android 11.

Geekbench allows you to evaluate the performance of the smartphone, but … it’s better not to do this yet: the test results do not correspond to the level of the Snapdragon 888. Samsung will clearly still work on the performance of the smartphone.
