Samsung has been reducing screen flex in recent years

Many companies in recent years have been phasing out curved screens or reducing their curvature. For example, this is what Samsung does with its flagship Galaxy S. And the Galaxy S24 Ultra may finally get a flat screen. 

At least that’s what an Ice Universe insider thinks.

Based on the 79mm width and some other information, the S24 Ultra is likely to be a flat screen.

As you can see, the author himself is not completely sure of this, but he has some information that hints at this fact. Recall that the S24 Ultra will repeat the record of the Galaxy S10 in terms of screen area to front panel area ratio. 

Curved screens have both opponents and supporters, but from a practical point of view, flat displays still win.
