Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Lite is credited with 7.2 “screen and Exynos 9825 chip

We have already reported that Samsung may release a less expensive version of the smartphone with a flexible display, the Galaxy Fold (shown). Now the authoritative tech blogger Mukul Sharma has published on his Twitter account the alleged characteristics of this device.

The device may be called Galaxy Z Fold Lite or Galaxy Z Fold 2 Lite. It is claimed that the gadget will receive a flexible AMOLED FHD + screen with Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) coating.

The “heart” of the smartphone will allegedly be the proprietary Exynos 9825 processor, which combines eight computing cores, the ARM Mali-G76 MP12 graphics accelerator, the NPU neurocomputer module, and the LTE-Advanced Pro Cat.20 modem with support for fourth-generation cellular networks.

The new flexible device is credited with having 12 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of up to 256 GB. In addition, a small auxiliary display for displaying notifications is mentioned.

The device will allegedly come with the Android 10 operating system, complemented by the proprietary One UI 2.5 user interface.

However, some observers have expressed doubts that the “affordable” flexible Samsung smartphone will come out with such equipment. Perhaps we are talking about some kind of internal prototype, which is being tested by the South Korean giant.
