As you can see from the patent illustrations, the South Korean giant is thinking about another Galaxy Fold style book-phone. Options with a flexible screen that folds outward and inward are being considered. In the second case, an auxiliary external display is provided on the back of the case.

The main feature of the smartphone is a cutout in one of the corners at the top of the case. Thanks to this design solution, when the device is folded, the optical modules of the front and rear cameras are next to each other, which makes it possible to obtain a combined system with a large number of sensors.

For example, in one embodiment of the device, when folded, six sensors are lined up in a line at once. Thus, the user will have access to the broadest possibilities in terms of shooting.

Alas, so far this unusual apparatus exists only on paper. Samsung has not disclosed plans to bring the device to the commercial market.
