Samsung has come up with two smartphones that can bend in two places at once
From the portal Gizmochina, it became known that Samsung has patented a foldable smartphone folded along two lines. All current devices with flexible displays that are only on the market have only one fold line.
According to the documentation published on the Web , the company is considering two options for such a device: one can bend outward, and the other inward. Interestingly, the smart S Pen does not require a dedicated storage slot in the case of this layout. The two outer panels on the side faces will have recesses with magnets, in which the pen will be held and charged in parallel. A similar solution with the storage of Apple Pencil on the side is used in the new iPad Pro.
The drawings also show a piezoelectric sensor under the screen, proximity and lighting sensors, and a dual front camera. The main camera module, consisting of two sensors and a flash, is supposed to be located on the back of the body.
The source does not provide any information about potential smartphones with such a design. It is possible that such a device may not enter the market at all.
