Samsung has developed a 32Gb DDR5 chip that will allow the creation of 128GB RAM modules

Such microcircuits will allow the creation of 128 GB RAM modules. It is known that we are talking about using a 12-nanometer class process technology. Mass production of such microcircuits is planned for the end of this year, that is, 128 GB modules may appear as early as the beginning of next year.

Samsung also notes in its press release that since 1983, DRAM capacity has increased 500,000 times. The same Samsung developed its first RAM chips with a capacity of 64 KB in 1983.
