Samsung is developing three apps for Windows 10

According to online sources, the South Korean company Samsung is developing three applications for the Windows 10 operating system. These are software products Quick Share, Samsung Free and Samsung O, which will make the interaction between Samsung smartphones and Windows 10 computers more convenient.

Samsung’s partnership with Microsoft continues to expand. Already, for Samsung smartphones, a number of exclusive functions have been implemented in the Your Phone application in Windows 10, synchronization between Samsung Note and OneNote is supported, as well as other useful functions. It looks like Samsung wants to give its smartphone users more tools to interact with Windows 10 by launching several new apps to do so.

The Quick Share application will perform the same functions as the tool of the same name, which appeared in Samsung smartphones along with the One UI 2 interface and will allow you to quickly exchange data using Wi-Fi Direct. Obviously, Quick Share for Windows 10 will enable fast file sharing between Samsung smartphones and PCs running Microsoft’s software platform.

As for the other two applications, not much is known about them. According to reports, Samsung Free is the successor to Samsung Daily, an app that allows you to browse news and search for different content (it appears as a feed in the One UI). It’s worth noting that in the Galaxy S21 smartphones, the Samsung Daily app has been replaced by a Google channel that provides similar capabilities. Little is known about the Samsung O app at the moment, but it is expected to resemble Samsung Free in features.
