Samsung is preparing a new version of the expensive Galaxy Chromebook

Earlier this year, Samsung unveiled a premium compact Galaxy Chromebook at CES 2020. The company is now preparing its successor, which will reportedly hit the market as the Galaxy Chromebook2. This was announced by a reputable insider Evan Blass (Evan Blass).

Unfortunately, the specifications of the device are unknown at the moment, however, it is assumed that the Chromebook2 will be based on an 11th generation Intel processor and will receive a version with an integrated LTE modem. Samsung is expected to reveal the new PC shortly. There are speculations that, like its predecessor, the Chromebook2 will be announced during CES.

As a reminder, the original Galaxy Chromebook comes with a 13.3-inch 4K AMOLED panel that boasts amazing picture quality. The device is based on the ninth-generation Intel Core i5 processor, working in conjunction with 16 GB of RAM. The built-in SSD can be up to 1TB. An interesting feature of the device is the ability to use it in tablet mode, which, together with the support of the S-Pen stylus, seriously expands its scope.
