Samsung to create SoC for mixed reality headsets

At the same time, the company will release such a headset

Samsung is about to follow Apple in launching its mixed reality headset. The device will be released either at the end of this year or early next. There are no details about it yet, but it is reported that Samsung is also going to release its own Exynos single-chip systems for headsets.

Given that these are only plans for now, the upcoming Samsung headset will apparently rely on either some foreign platforms or existing Exynos SoCs. 

However, new platforms for mixed reality headsets may not be entirely new. It is reported that Samsung has not yet decided whether it will develop these SoCs from scratch or simply adapt existing solutions.
