The smartphone’s page confirms that it will be based on the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset found in, for example, last year’s Google Pixel 4A. The basic version of the Galaxy A72 will receive 6 GB of RAM, but it is reported that users will also be available a modification with 8 GB of RAM. As for the drive, it is assumed that there are options with 128 and 256 GB of permanent memory. The smartphone will hit the market running Android 11 and will receive operating system updates and four years of security updates over the course of three years.

As for the screen, its resolution will correspond to Full HD +. According to rumors, the OLED display will be 6.7 inches diagonal, and its refresh rate will reach 90 Hz. The 5G version of the device is expected to receive a 120Hz panel and Snapdragon 750G chipset. The upcoming Galaxy A72 is credited with a quad camera with a main 64-megapixel sensor, supplemented with 12-, 8- and 2-megapixel sensors. In front, there will be a 32-megapixel selfie module. The smartphone will receive protection from dust and moisture according to the IP67 standard and a 5000 mAh battery with support for fast 25-W charging.
