Update already in progress

Some time ago, we reported that the next software update ruined the screens of some Samsung Galaxy Note9 – they turned yellow or green. Later, the owners of the Galaxy S20 Ultra also faced a similar problem.

It is not yet clear what the fate of Note9 is, but the source says that Samsung is already working on firmware for the current flagship, which will solve the problem. The problem is clearly programmatic in nature, but it is not clear what it is associated with. For example, in the Galaxy S20 Ultra, it manifests itself mainly with a screen frame frequency of 120 Hz and brightness below 30%, and problems were often noticed with modifications on the SoC Exynos 990. At the same time, the Galaxy Note9 does not have any increased frame frequency of the screen, but the problem looks the same.

In any case, faced with this misfortune, one can only hope that Samsung will release the update as early as possible.
