The 120-Hertz screen will go to only the more expensive Samsung Galaxy Note20 +
This week there were rumors that the Samsung Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 + smartphones will receive screens with an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, but now new information has surfaced.
Samsung will give 120 Hz only to the elite. Samsung Galaxy Note20 will receive an outdated 60-hertz screen
Ross Young, founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, updated the information he had previously published, saying that Samsung decided to equip the younger version of the Samsung Galaxy Note20 with an outdated LTPS screen with a 60 Hz image refresh rate. The screen size of the Samsung Galaxy Note20 will increase from 6.3 inches (Galaxy Note10) to 6.42 inches, while the resolution will be 2345 x 1084 pixels (pixel density 404 PPI). The aspect ratio is 19.5: 9.
At the same time, the Samsung Galaxy Note20 + will receive a more expensive LTPO screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Young claims that this information was provided by informed Samsung informers.
Given this, it can be assumed that the Samsung Galaxy Note20 will have a much lower price than the older model. Perhaps Samsung will release two tablets that target different categories of customers.
The presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 + is expected in August this year.
