Samsung will release a smartphone with a 200-megapixel main camera
Currently, the maximum resolution of the camera used in the smartphone is 108 megapixels. However, this may change soon. Today, Samsung‘s official Exynos account posted a video on Twitter hinting at the launch of a smartphone with a truly amazing camera.
Today’s tweet from the company asks what users expect from a smartphone camera. This is followed by a video directly talking about the 200-megapixel sensor of the main camera. The video also contains images of a smartphone in the main camera, of which a 200-megapixel sensor is supplemented with three more sensors. The device’s front camera consists of two sensors, each of which is located in a separate round cutout of the screen. The video also makes it clear that Samsung’s Exynos processor will power the device.
Unfortunately, nothing else is known about the device at the moment. It’s worth noting that a couple of months ago, an insider hiding under the nickname Ice Universe announced that Samsung is going to release a new ISOCELL camera sensor that will stand out with an outstanding resolution. Apparently, this event is just around the corner.
