We are talking about a chip, the production of which will use 5-nanometer technology. This product will have to compete with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor, the official presentation of which, according to the available data, will take place at the end of this year.

Blogger Ice universe, regularly disclosing reliable information about upcoming new products from the mobile world, reports that the upcoming Exynos chip will receive a three-cluster configuration “1 + 3 + 4”. In other words, eight cores will be combined into three blocks.

In particular, one “super-core” with maximum performance will be used. Another unit will combine three cores with a slightly lower speed, and the quartet of the remaining cores will boast high energy efficiency.

We add that it is Samsung Electronics that will manufacture the mentioned Snapdragon 875 processors, which will also have a “1 + 3 + 4” configuration. According to rumors, the Qualcomm product will include a “super-core” Cortex-X1, a powerful graphics accelerator Adreno 660, and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem with support for fifth-generation mobile networks.
