SanDisk Unveils iPhone and USB-C Compatible Flash Drive
SanDisk-branded Western Digital today unveiled the iXpand Flash Drive Luxe. Its main feature is that it is equipped with two connectors: Lightning and USB-C. This allows the drive to be used with a wide range of devices.
iXpand Flash Drive Luxe can be used with iPhone, iPad, most modern Android devices, and any computer with a USB-C port. It is worth noting that to work with Apple smartphones and tablets, you may need to install the iXpand Drive application compatible with iOS 11 or a newer version of the operating system. But on devices with iOS 13 and higher, you can get by with the standard Files application. Using the drive greatly simplifies transferring files between devices based on different platforms without an Internet connection.
The iXpand Flash Drive Luxe is available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB options. Their cost is $ 45, $ 60 and $ 90, respectively. Sales of the device start today.
