Sea of Thieves will run in 4K @ 60fps on Xbox Series X
Rare has shared details of how Sea of Thieves, an online pirate action game, will be optimized for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
According to Rare executive producer Joe Neate, the first thing you’ll notice about Sea of Thieves on next-generation consoles is “the beauty of a pirate paradise. ” On Xbox Series X, the game will play at 60 fps in native 4K resolution, and on Xbox Series S in 1080p at 60 fps.
In addition, players can expect to see performance improvements, with the processing power of both new consoles dramatically reducing load times, which will help you get started or return to play much faster after a flood or a visit to the Damned Ferry.
The Sea of Thieves update will be available at the Xbox Series X & S launch on November 10.
